Black and white exploding box

Good evening everyone

I hope you're all well and have enjoyed the gorgeous weather the past few days. I was gutted I missed the thunderstorms last night as I just love to watch them.

Over the weekend I've been doing a colouring class done by Kit and Clowder whos called Alyce. Its amazing all the techniques you can learn and colouring itself is such a stress reliever and takes me away from the pain and troubles.

I must pre warn you this post is photo heavy

I've also been working on My first exploding box which I finished today. I used the Hunkydory Scoreboard to do mine but you can find a simple tutorial here:
Exploding box video tutorial

The cardstock is Hunkydory and papers for decoration are from sweet Dixie 6x6 paper pads and First editions 12x12 paper pad.  I used snippets of paper from past projects for the sides and some of the die cuts.

Dies I used were Spellbinders rose creation die and tattered lace flower die from crescent creations die set.  The flourishes are Tattered lace and border die cuts are from ultimate crafts.

The sentiments , mirrored flowers, mirror silver hearts and some of the lid border are from some old craft stash .

The heart and angel charms are from old stash too.

Really pleased with the outcome of this one.

I hope you like it too.

Have a lovely week and thanks for stopping by.

Lots of love

DT post - Creative Moments . Spring

Good morning everyone

It's time for a new challenge over at Creative Moments

The optional theme is spring: use a minimum of 2 flowers on your card which shouldn't be too difficult especially for me lol

One of the sponsors is "My stitch back in twine"
My digi stamp from the sponsor is called Daffodils and you can find it here:
Daffodils digi stamp

I just love colouring flowers in, I used Promarkers and Spectrum noirs.

I decided to make a tag using A4 cardstock from Hunkydory and just cutting it to a tag shape

I matted the image using Sue Wilson ornate rectangle dies onto Mirri cardstock from Kanban

The two sentiment toppers at the bottom is from a free kit from Hunkydory from being a member at create and craft.

Die cuts used X cut small doily cut out and border die and tattered lace flower and crescent creations from tattered lace.

Charm is from a few bits I put together myself

Ribbon from create and craft using gold bow maker to create the bow

Look forward to seeing your fabulous creations!

Have a lovely day and thanks so much for stopping by and leaving any comments

Lots of love
